Net als voorgaande jaren wordt ook dit jaar The Game Awards gehouden, een soort Oscar’s, maar dan voor games. Verspreid over diverse categorieën waaronder onder andere Best Game Direction, Best Narrative en de zeer prestigieuze Game of The Year award zal bepaald worden wie er met het beeldje naar huis gaan.
